I have 3 Swift 6x18 mildots and have not had any problems with them. Good clear scopes. Am thinking about getting a Hawke 8x32 mildot , only because Swift doesn't have one in that power. I got mine from eabco.com they have some good prices.

I run a couple of Win 70's and a DPMS AR-15 as varimint rifles. The AR is mounted with a Millett mildot and I can recommend both the mildot system and the Millett scopes.

I have never seen the need to go for the 8-32x scopes. On my varmint rig i have a Weaver Kt-15 15x40mm just a stright 15 power. My custom 308 will get a bushnell elite 4200 6-24x44mm though for them longrange ground hog shots. I have a great BSA 36x42mm target scope with two sunshades I would let go for $125 shipped. COntact me at usarmy91tango@msn.com Mounted once shot once no ring marks or any other marks one it.
